    "Hudson's…" 1831 Oregon russet variety.  It has the suggestion of pear in texture and flavor!

    "Esopus Spitzenburg"  Rich, sharp, aromatic.  Discovered in Esopus, NY in the 1700s. Grown at Monticello; reputed to be Jefferson's favorite!

    "Black Oxford" 1790s Maine veriety. Good eatin' and great pink sauce.\

    "Baldwin" discovered in 1740, Wilmington, MA and made famous by Johnny Apleseed's cousin, Loammi Baldwin! Aromatic, sweet-tart aple great for eating and cooking.

    "Lady Apple"  A 1600s very small (about one-third the size of a 'normal' apple), beautiful apple, .  Lovely, diminuative, sweet delight. (Beautiful on the hoiday table!)

    "Northern Spy"  "Spys for pies!" but it's a great all-around apple.  Named in the 1800s for an abolishionist who traveled the south under the guise of a slave catcher to inform slaves of safe houses.

    Bola Granola is Berkshire gold.  Chef Michelle Miller has produced this magnificent nutty concoction, and it has been a Moon In The Pond staple for decades.  We’re delighted to offer it.

    Berkshire honey is sublime wildflower nectar collected in the hills and valleys of the southern Berkshires.  Our infused honeys are artisanally produced by us at the farm.  They are infused with fresh flowers and herbs gathered at the height of bloom then enveloped in honey and allowed to mature for at least six months.  A european delicacy that’s great adorning fine cheese, to enhance a good black tea, or on its own to brew a fantastic sweet tisane.
